The actress was on the scene in September 2016 when she appeared as a werewolf Maia Roberts in Freeform's fantasy drama Shadowhunters. The show is an adaptation of Cassandra's Mortal Instruments series of books. The character she played was one of the recurring characters in Season 2. In the following season, she was part of the series' third season. The actress also appears as a star in streaming service Raising Dion. Alisha wainwright has not yet win any awards.
