Lucy Liu is a voice actress singer and director. She's also an actress. Southland is a critically-acclaimed series of police dramas that included Liu in multiple role, allowed her to reaffirm her status as a performer. Liu takes great care when selecting her roles in order that she is not cast in a very competition-driven industry. While she's very proud of her ethnicity, she does not let the fact that she is from China limit her creative abilities.
